Alma Shipping approached Project Management International (PMI) for the charter of a suitable multicat vessel.

PMI Tiger and its crew was chartered out to assist on the project from Anglo-French oil and gas company Perenco.

Summary Vessel Specifications

A multipurpose work boat ideally suited and designed for marine construction and offshore works. PMI Tiger is equipped with a 140tm crane and a 50ton winch.

These facilities coupled with a large deck space make PMI Tiger an ideal work boat for offshore and marine related construction work.

Accommodation quarters onboard can support a crew of 4 personnel

PMI comply and adhere to all applicable international, national and local regulations pertaining to health, safety and the environment.

Contract Execution

PMI Tiger was deployed to tow a barge from Port Gentil in Gabon to Douala in Cameroon.

Upon arrival in Cameroon, the PMI Tiger provided further project support during pipelaying activities.

At the end of the operations, PMI Tiger towed back the barge to Perenco’s yard in Port Gentil.
